The EuroGEOSS workshop, held in Geneva, from 12 to 14 September 2018, brought together European players interested in and actively contributing to the Global Earth Observations System of Systems (GEOSS). The aim was to look for synergies among the participants and to discuss how Europe can contribute to this international effort.
The Greek GEO office participated in the opening session entitled “EuroGEOSS – the European regional contribution to GEOSS” and the following panel discussion. Its Director, delivered a 5 minute statement unfolding GGO’s view on how EuroGEOSS changes the EO landscape in Europe and what are the expected benefits, mainly from the national focal point perspective.
