We are pleased to inform you that the upcoming EuroGEO 2022 workshop will take place with physical presence in Athens, from 7 to 9 December 2022.
The conference is organised by the European Commission , the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation of the Ministry of Development and Investment and the Greek GEO Office, which is located at the National Observatory of Athens.
The conference will host the European geo-observation community that actively contributes to the activities of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), and will focus on Eart Observation based solutions and tools to support the European Green Deal.
More information on the programme, workshop venue and suggested hotels (for those outside Athens) will follow soon.
Please commit the date to your agenda and forward appropriately to others who may be interested in attending the conference.
The morning sessions of Wednesday 7 December will be open for parallel/preparatory meetings of EuroGEO Action Groups or other relevant clusters of programmes or initiatives. If you are interested in proposing to organise one of the above meetings, please indicate this in the registration form in the relevant field.
In addition, on Thursday 8 December there will be an opportunity (by choice due to limited space) for poster presentations where you can highlight applications, services and/or tools you have developed that promote innovative use of geospatial observation to serve the conference themes.
